Chevron Bench

jENNY got this at the Salvation Army for FREE!!!!!
Can you believe some of the things people will throw away!
They were going to throw it away because it was damaged.
But with a little TLC and Gorilla glue Jenny got her back in good condition.
I love this color of turquoise, it's called Lagoon.
Love Chevron too, so we put my two loves together.
If I don't say so myself I like these two loves together.
I also love the detail in this bench.
I love the legs and the back of the bench. The wood work is amazing.
Another item that was for the Scraps of Simplicity.

Yellow Squash Bench

This is one of my favorite benches. I think I say this about all the benches I make.
I love the yellow and the black together. They are a great combination.
The detail is so fun.
Here she is primed and I call all the pieces she, too!!!
This is before!! It's always amazing that you can start out with something so plain and make it into something completely different.

Crib Bench

I finished this bench about a week ago and I love it. I kept it for myself that's how much I love it. I Love the fabric. I am looking for yellow striped fabric to make a smaller pillow. This pillow is from Salvation Army. It was originally from Target. It has a tear on the back(who looks at the backs of pillows) So for $3.00 what the heck.
I can't decide which way I like the pillow. So it gets changed back and forth ALOT. My husband refers to me as MONK(from the TV series) I'm not that bad!!! I can't help I like things a certain way. Another thing I love about this bench is the original wheels.
Here she is painted. I am in love with this green color. I am in the process of Redo-ing our Master Bedroom and this is one of the colors I am using on the furniture.
This is her before priming and painted. I added the wood decals for a little extra CUTENESS.

HOT Pink Bench-SOLD

I really like this color. It's so fun and GIRLey. I don't think my boys would like this color for their rooms.
I absolutely fell in love with this fabric at Hobby Lobby. You could add this to any girls room. It has lots of colors that can be incorporated with it. Jenny makes the cutest pillows and flowers. I love the fluffy pillows and the Black pillow with it. The flower gives it just that extra cute-ness charm. This bench is for SALE, email me with any questions. Ashley-SOLD Here she is primed.
Shortly after it was put together.
This headboard is the sides of the bench. We had to cut the headboard in half and cut the legs off.
This headboard is the back of the bench.

Carries Bench Part 2

I really love how this bench turned out. I love the detail of the crib.
The color is also one of my favorite colors.
This is a close up of the fabric.
Amazing how much different it looks painted, instead of primed.
This is the bench is all natural.

Carrie's Bench

This bench is for Carrie. Hopefully she loves it as much as I do.
This is the bench before it's all primed. You will never guess where I found this baby crib????!!! I was going to Lucas Lumbar to get wood for some of my crafting projects. We drove past a hug building at 50 MPH and what did I see poking out of the garbage can as we flew by. This BEAUTIFUL crib. I was so excited, but of course my husband would NOT NOT turn around if his life depended on it. So the next day on my way to work I stopped at the hug building and parked next to the garbage can, looked around to see if anyone was watching-NOP NO ONE. Except the cars speeding past at 50 MPH. Grabbed the crib out of the garbage can and threw it in the back of the Subaru. Got in my car and drove to work.
This is the best dumpster find I have found thus far. Carrie I hope you love it! I am painting it tommorrow.

BENCHES, BenCHes, and MoRE BEncHES!!!

This bench was very tricky, because usually you would use a head and foot board from the same bed. We had two head boards to work with on this one.
It's lower to the ground! I think it would be perfect in a kids room for a reading bench, or on a front porch. Here is one headboard.
We used this one for the sides of the bench. We cut of the legs to make it match the other head board.
I am so excited about this one. This is going to be SO SO SO CUTE when it's all painted, because of how tall it is. I Love it already and it's not even done yet
We had two of these to start out with. I LOVE LOVE that it has the wheels on it still and they work. My mom said when she was little her younger brother and sister both used a crib just like this one. So it's over 50 years old.
We have more to make this weekend, so check back soon.

This fabric was on clearance at Jo-Annes. I really liked the COLOR GREEN and pattern on it.
Jenny found this crib in the garbage at the Salvation Army, and she knew what she could do with it. I love the Color and how it turned out. I really like how the back of the bench is so high. This Bench is for SALE, contact Ashley at bnaclaw@msn.com if interested!

Twin Bed to Bench

This is our first Bench from a twin headboard.
I really liked how it turned out.
The cushion is removable. A close up of the Fabric.
