Valentines Wreath

I decided to make a fabric tie wreath, after seeing some of the cuttest ones made on tatertots and jello. So this is my Valentine fabric tie wreath.

I went to JoAnnes and bought 4 different fabrics and bought 3/4 a yard of each. Cut the fabrics in 1 inch strips and then cut the strips into 6 inch pieces. Hopefully the made sense??Look at the pic below.

This is the fabric and the heart shaped wreath I found at Savers for $1.99. I just tied the 6 inch strips around the frame of the heart and left the stuff that it was made out of on it. I saw this exact heart shaped wreath at JoAnnes for 10.99. I was glad I only paid a 1.99(which I thought was kinda expensive for a thrift store)

Winter Wonderland Wreaths

I Love the blue theme of bulbs that was used on Tatertots and Jello. So I thought it would be perfect for the month of January.

These are the two wreaths I made with bulbs that Jenny collects from the Salvation Army and DI. If they are cheap she WILL purchase them. So I went through our totes of bulbs and found the colors that I liked. At the end of Christmas you can get so much cute decorations for a pennies on the dollar. A bought some darling ribbon two years ago. Not really knowing what I would us it for but I loved the color scheme on it. Dark blue, Turquoise, Silver, and Green. So I went through allot of stuff we just keep on hand for my wood crafting and found allot of the stuff for the wreaths and banisters.

I absolutely Love all the colors together. I think I like it better than the Christmas time banister!

Christmas Wreaths

I have been wanting to make two wreaths for our french doors in the entry way for years. So finally last night I made them. I got all of the ornaments from the Salvation Army. The ribbon was from one of the many end of the season sales last year and so were the wreaths.

I LOVE them. I love the red, greens, and silver together. It is so Christmassy.
