Quaterfoil Highback CHair and Endtable

Love this color combo. 

It could be for a girls bedroom or dorm room. 

I love that it could be in someones living room.

Jenny sewed the seat cover for this chair. She did the piping in black to give it a pop, I love it.

She even lined up the pattern. Which is not easy at all. But she is good at what she does.

Even though she puts a fight to do it, it always turns out beautiful in the end. 

 I love the quarterfoil design in the back of the chair.

 It matches the fabric beautifully.

This End table turned out better that I imagined. 

The colors all together just pull the colors from the chair and  are perfect together.

Jenny got these knobs a long time ago of another piece of furniture. 

They are vintage and are perfect for this project. 

 These pieces of wood pull in the back of the chair.

Both having the quarterfoil pattern. 

I love how all these cool designs from the 60's and 70's are making a comeback.

I am loving the comeback.

 So BEAUtiful. Like I always say, I wish I could keep this for my house.

But not enough room and my hubs would kill me.

Gretchen Dresser

Gretchen wanted this dresser/changing table a different color.

She painted it this light green, but was looking for something more modern.

Gretchen chose Black. I love the knobs she added to it. Black and White checker.

It still amazes me what a different color can do to a piece of furniture.

Carrie's Pantry Door

Carrie was wanting something different for her pantry door. Out in blog land there are lots of pantry doors being painted different colors. Which is so fun and brings a pop of color to the kitchen. Carrie asked me to paint her pantry door and distress it. I love the way it turned out. The picture doesn't do the door justice. You can't see all the distressing and the white that came through. Did I say that I love it. I am trying to figure what door in our house to do this too! It's so fun and cute.

Mirror Mirror!!

I am in love with mirrors lately! If I see one and at the DI or Salvation Army I have to buy it.

I found a new home for this mirror. I purchased it at the DI for $4.00. I love the detail in the frame. I spray painted it black! I had the perfect home for this mirror above our kitchen cabinets.

This is her before she was painted black. It's still amazing what a new coat of paint will do to a piece of furniture. I am almost done with the dressors-they are painted and some are stained. I am hoping to have them posted and done this weekend. Keep checking back.

Kitchen Table & Chairs ReDO

I love how this turned out. I have always loved black and maroon together.

I love the legs on the kitchen table, they remind me of bamboo! I like how all the chairs have the same bamboo front legs on them. I also like how the bamboo details is also all the way around the table at the top. This table and chairs are For SALE. Just email if you are interested. Again the bamboo looking details on the back of all the chairs as well. I Love it!!!

I added these knobs from Hobby Lobby, they originally had small little brass knobs. I love the maroon on the knobs. It ties in the maroon around the edge of the table and on the fabric on the seat cushions.

The fabric on the chairs is very Beautiful!!

Don't you love the before pics. I can't believe I ever like this color. The chairs were originally that yellow all over, I sanded alot off.

I even added this lovely fabric.

Black Coffee Tables

Okay, so everything I have been ReDO-ing lately is bright and full of color, so with these two bedside tables or coffee tables I went with just black. I spray paint the original knobs white to give it a little pop.

Claret Wine High Back Chair & Bookcase

About a year ago on Studio 5 Heather from Heartland Paper showed a high back chair that she had spray painted and put Baby scrapbook paper on the high backs. It was very Cute. So when Jenny brought this home from Salvation Army, I new what we could do with it.

The bookcase was kinda plain spray painted just black. So I added scrapbook paper to the back of the bookcase. I used the same black and white themed scrapbook paper on the high back chair. Here is a close up of the scrapbook papers I used. I Love black and white together with a pop of color. I spray painted a my kitchen stool this same color and fell in love with it. I used Rust-Oleum Claret Wine on the high back chair and Canyon Black on the bookcase. This Claret Wine High Back chair is SOLD THe Canyon Bookcase is SOLD

Summer Squash Chair and Stool-SOLD

This is the before of the chair. I forgot to take a before of the stool.

I Love the color scheme of this chair and stool. The pillow is another FAVORITE, black and white polka dot with yellow trim. The pillow makes the chair stand out. Jenny used the left over fabric from the stool to make the cute flower. She was upset because I made her make the flower bigger. But my motto is the bigger the better. The flower on the pillow compliments the the fabric on the stool. This is a close up of the fabric that always starts out the project and helps me decide what colors I will use on the project. Last year I made a similar chair with this fabric and used the same color spray paint. It was one of the first chairs I sold. So I had this fabric left over. Old CLoset Door ReDo

I Forgot to take a before picture of the old Closet Door. The color before was basically dark wood. I needed another Picture Wall in our entry for other son D. So when I saw this closet door at Salvation Army for $4.00 I bought it right then. I painted it with Rustoleum Spray Paint in Canyon Black, distressed it, and stained it. I wanted it to have a door knob. I was at The Cannery in North Ogden and saw this door knob in white and though it would be perfect for my Closet door.

I attached the pictures with Scrapbooking clips. My mom had a whole bunch of Mattes from BEV's already. I just went through and picked colors that I liked. Found cute ribbon in my scrapbooking stuff and attached the ribbon to the hooks and hung them on the closet door.

I really liked how it turned out. Know I need to learn how to use my Cricut and cut out some vinyl to put above the closet door.
