RETRO STYLE BUFFET

I absolutely loved how this turned out.
The natural wood grain was beautiful on this piece.
I did not want to cover it up by painting it 100%.
So I worked my magic.
This piece was headed for the dumpster at Salvation Army because the door on the right was broken off. Jenny snatched it right up before it had a dismal fate.
A couple of the knobs were broken off.
So she got all new ones, but yet they are not all the same.
I painted the drawers white, and stenciled it in a sea foam green.
I also painted the bottom in sea foam green.
This is where I could not paint over the beautiful grain 100%.
So why not add STRIPES???
I am so in love with this piece. Defiantly a one of a kind.
The pictures do not do this piece justice.
The picture is the wood in original form-no stains just sanded down
This is stained in a dark walnut, you can kinda see the grain in the wood.
Isn't it just beautiful??

This needed something, just to plain and boring.
I added bead board to the back of the cuby and trim around the edge to give it a finished look.

Once the dark walnut stain was added, it made the bead board pop.

Antique Buffet/CD Holder

I fell in LOVE with this piece when I found it at the Salvation Army.
I originally bought this for myself, but unfortunately it was way to big for the space where I wanted to put it.
I love the clean lines of this piece, the octagon frame around each knob, and the knobs look like huge flower. The knobs are original I spray painted them with Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze.
Look how cute the little feet are on this buffet.
I left the inside in it's original form, because it is beautiful color and a nice contrast to the green.
It is perfect for many, many, and many more DVD's. I will try and look thru my photos and find the orginal pics of this piece and add them if/when I find them.
This piece has been SOLD.
