Who Would Of Thought!!!!

A lamp base with the light taken out of it!
A lamp shade, NAKED with no cover!
A thing-a-jig that holds back long drapes from the window!
Any guesses as to what these three items made?
It turned out to be the most adorable, cutest, thing EVER?
This is it finished but what purpose is it for?
The close pins may give it away! The top is SO SO SO Cute! Do you have any ideas what this could be? I didn't until Jenny told me after I spray painted all of it. Now I want to make some for my boys rooms. A PICTURE, LAmp Thing-a-ma-jig holder. Isn't it the CUTEST idea. I absolutly love it. Who would of thought!! Jenny came up with it and I am on the look out for cool lamp shades now. We have three really cool lamps and know I want to make more. Let me know what you think? Is it as cute as I think? All these items are FOR SALE at THe Cannery in North Ogden

Chicken Wire Frames

My fellow blogger pal Mel from oopsredone.blogspot.com made some of these and I fell in LOVE with them.
They are so cute and fun.
THe pics don't give this frame justice. There is alot of detail in the frame that the glaze stuck in and gave it a pop. It's SO SO SOOOO cute. This is for sale at THe Cannery.
Don't you love the before pic of the frame. I am in love with the horse picture:::))))!!!
I think I am keeping the black frame for our laundry room. I love the chunky frame.
The before pic. Gotta love the DI. My favorite store!

A New LOok!!

I am in love with damask patterns so I thought I would give some pieces of furniture a face lift yesterday. I am so glad I did, loving the way they turned out.
In love with black and white.

I just wanted something little on the front of the drawers so I just stenciled the corners.

This is the before I got this piece of furniture for Christmas 8 in half years ago from my loving hubby. It was all white before. I just deleted the before pic on accident-oops!!
I also added a little something to this bench. I love how it turned out as well.

I distressed it a lot.
I also got this for Christmas from my loving hubby that same year.

Kims Double Bed ReDO

This is a double bed that I refinished for Kim. She wanted white and distressed very little and stained lightly. But she wanted the detail to stand out so left it darker. It is so adorable for a little girl named Mylee. I love all the flowers and stems. It's so GIRLEE and so cute. I love the color white, so clean and pure.
It had a lot of really cute details on the headboard.
This is the footboard just a little of the flower details to tie in from the headboard.
You can not find furniture like this in Rc Willeys or any furniture store for that matter! Which is very sad.
The complete footboard.
This is the headboard sanded down. Took sometime to get in all the beautiful detail. But the end result is adorable.
This is the Before footboard
The before headboard.
The detail does not stand out as much when it's just stained. It still amazes me what a little paint and stain and TLC can do to an old piece of furniture.

Dads Old Metal Chairs ReDO

DSCN1493

These are the coolest chairs I love them. My friend Cami asked if I could ReDo her fathers old metal chair-ABSOLUTELY I told her. She told me this chair once belonged to Camis*Fathers* mother. Essentially Cami’s grandmothers.

Hopefully you are following me here::))!!!

So anyway, Cami wanted to surprise her father for Fathers Day and give him this chair ReDOne and also wanted me to find him another one to match.

DSCN1495

Look at all this rust and ICKY-ness. Nothing that a little TLC won’t cure. So I was on the hunt for one of these metal chairs to match her fathers*mothers chair-EXACTICALLY!!! If anyone has loooked for one of these chairs you will know they are hard to come buy and they are few and far between. They can also be very expensive.

DSCN1496

Well luckily for me I didn’t have to look to far. I went to my parents house because my dad is kinda a collector of these chairs. So I had to ask the HARD question-Will my dad part with one of these chairs?? Well with a little convincing he said yes. BUT NEVER, NEVER, EVER ask again because these CHAIRS are hard to come buy and it took me a LONG time get them….. BLAH BLAH BLAH as he is telling me all this.

DSCN1497

SO here are the LOVELY two tone chairs that I adore so much. I love the way they turned out. Cami was so excited to get them back. She couldn’t believe how well the two matched and the color was basically the exact same color. Her father loved them too!

DSCN1498

I accidentally put the same pic up-OH WELL!!

DSCN1499

This was a fun experience to do these chairs it did take a LOT longer to get them apart then I thought it would. I had to saw the screws out of the white frame and the seats because they were SO SO SO SO SO SO rusted they were not budging at all. But they turned out BEAU-tiful. My dad know wants to two tone his chairs as well. I told him have fun with that!!!

Loving Birdcages!!!

So I have been seeing A LOT of birdcages out in blogland and in magazines. So I have been keeping my out at the DI and Salvation Army. I made this from a candle holder and a birdcage. I love how it turned out.
It's new home is above my kitchen cabinets. Now I am on the look out for a little bird and a nest that need a home. This is the before pics. I found these two pieces at the Salvation Army to make into the birdcage.(Another one of my dads many metal chairs in the background)

Summer Crafts at The Cannery

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My mom recently had knee surgery and I haven't been working on things a lot lately. But I did make some crafts for The Cannery in North Ogden.
I love Watermelons on front doors in the summer. These are two different but equally cute watermelons just for your front doors.
And who doesn't LOVE the 4th of July. I always love red, white, and blue together. Here are a few different 4th of July door hangers.
Flower pots are always fun for anytime of the year.
